Quilted Fan Purse

Knitting Fireside Socks (3 sessions)

This is a great class to learn how to knit socks using size 7 double-pointed needles and worsted weight (which means it won’t take as long to finish and you can see what you’re doing!).  These socks make wonderful gifts and are great for getting warm and cozy on winter evenings!

Needle Felting

This class is too much fun!  Learn to needle felt while making an animal or character of your choice.  Plenty of room for your imagination to go wild!  Once you learn the technique, you will be equipped to create an endless array of projects!

 

Shadow Knitting Washcloth

Beginning Knit I (2 sessions)

Learn all the basics of knitting while creating a beautiful  triangular scarf.  You will learn how to cast on, knit and purl, bind off and read a pattern.  This class prepares you to move on to other knitting projects.


Fair Isle Puppet Class

October 4, 11 and 25 Saturday 10-12

Learn the fair isle technique using two different colors while creating your own fun puppet. This class also teaches how to do short rows as well as fair isles.  You can choose which animal you would like to make.


Beginning Knit II (2 Sessions)

This is a continuation of the Beginning Knit I.  You will be knitting a Ruffled Ribbed Scarf.  You will need to take the Beginning Knit I class before you can start this class.

 

Felted Bowl

Learn to knit a fun and useful bowl using double pointed needles as well as gain hands-on experience with the felting process.  Once you get the hang of felting, you can move onto many other types of projects.  Great project for beginner knitters!!

Natural Dye Interactive Workshop (1 session)

November 9, Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm

$69 includes instruction, plant materials for dying, and fiber samples

Instructor: Ric Rao

Learn about using various native and garden plants to dye wool yarn during this interactive demonstration of the natural dying process.  Various yarn and fiber samples will be provided for you to take home with you as well as plants so that you can grow your own natural dye garden.  Don’t miss this great opportunity!
